Abstract:In order to reduce the time of the development for medium -low voltage relay protection,and improve the reliability and the technology, this paper proposes a new hardware platform DSP&ARM. On the basis of the hardware platform and RTOS, a schematic programming software platform is developed. Abstract:The characteristics of zero sequence current in ladder ungrounded distributed power system are discussed. The zero sequence currents of two sides in connection line are analyzed in detail when line internal and external single-phase ground fault occurrence. The shortage of traditional single-phase ground fault protection principle is pointed out。The new principle is proposed based on the direction relation between zero sequence currents of two sides in connection line and the direction relation between zero-sequence differential current and zero sequence currents. The test and site operation results show the superiority of this technology.

Abstract:There will be false root in the fault location using two-terminal data if the unsynchronized date is considered. In this paper, the generation of the false root is represented. The algorithm of fault location, having no use for distinguishing the false root and using unsynchronized data of two-terminal, is introduced. It utilizes searching and iteration methods to locate the fault point according the regularity of fault component voltage along the transmission line while its astringency and the exclusivity are proved. The algorithm adopted distributed parameters which can eliminate the influence of the line capacitance is realized easily. The result of simulation shows that the algorithm has a high precision and a low sensitivity to the fault resistance, inception angle and unsynchronized data of two-terminal, while the method has a high speed of astringency.

Abstract:This paper describes a fault's treatment process which is caused by the inconsistency of general three-phase electric energy meter and the memory. The register reading of a certain electric energy meter is different from that of the load control system. Through on-site inspection and experimental simulation analysis, the fault reason is found: the energy is not calculated in the memory when RS485 port is in the reverse situation. The fault electric energy meters are repaired and replaced, the economic losses are avoided and some suggestions are put forward to avoid the similar failures.

Abstract:For the past few years the wide application of High-voltage converters in power plants has a significant impact on traditional motor relay protection. Setting calculation for motor protection such as instantaneous overcurrent protection and under-voltage protection are carried out based on analysis of motor parameters when the system works in frequency-conversion mode. In connection with the ploblem that traditional current phasor differential protection can't be used any more when motors work in Frequency-Conversion mode, sampled value differential protection principle is presented as the main protection.

Abstract:To resolve the problem of the frequency selective fading and ISI caused by data transmission in channel, this study proposes one communication method in low-voltage power line based on multicarrier spreading spectrum technique (researches on multicarrier spreading spectrum technique). According to the special structure of Multicarrier Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (MC-DS-CDMA,) system, this study analyses the relation of parameters configure and resumable path numbers, and the performance of system in different parameters configure and multiuser. By the simulating and comparing of the same bandwidth and measure arithmetic at last, it can obtain better performance than the direct sequence CDMA (DS-CDMA, Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access) and greatly promote the capacity of anti-MAI and anti-ISI in the process of transmission.

Abstract:An earth fault on a 220 kV line's phase A in 220 kV substation is occured, the dual pilot protection on both sides of line operated quickly. The following actions happen serially: switch of phase A trips and three trips happen continually, then the bus breaker failure protection operates to trip the 220 kV bus coupler, finally, bus differential protection operates to trip all breakers of 220 kV bus. In this paper, both the fault developing process and the protection's operation are analyzed in details, and the correct action is suggested for these complicated and multiple faults.

Abstract:The auto transfer devices is widely used in 110kV and other lower voltage power system, especially in the incoming line and bridge circuit breaker of the important bridge connection station. Abstract:To resolving the problem of algorithmic complexity and low efficiency in the implement method of back/forward sweep algorithm formerly. On the basis of analyzing the techniques for power flow calculations of distribution network, the topology structure of distribution network is defined by the tree structure which consisted of special circuit branch structure and node structure.Correcting branch currents by postorded-traversing the tree structure and correcting nodal voltages by preorder-traversing the tree structure until constringency. There is no need to number the distribution network and to form admittance matrix in this implement method. The validity and accuracy of the implement method above is verified through analysis and the 33-bus system example.

Abstract:After the occurring of single-phase grounding fault of 220kV circuit near large power supply, high zero sequence voltage induces breakdown of the neutral point gap in the 110KV system's main transformer and abnormal actions of distance protection in the 110kV line. The cause of this accident is analyzed in this paper. Suggestions of mitigating zero sequence voltage and measures of preventing incorrect actions of relative protection are proposed when grounding fault occurs near the large power supply.

Abstract:The neutral spot of a 20 kV system could be connected to earth by either arc-suppression coil or low-resistance. Considering the changes brought about by the different ways the neutral spot is connected to earth to the relay protection of the 20 kV system connected to earth by low-resistance, the paper puts forward a protective configuring and setting program for the 20 kV system on the basis of its deliberate analysis and calculation of the short-circuit faults of the 20 kV system.

Abstract:There are three kinds of the electronic measurement transformer that apply in intelligent substation: optoelectronic transformer、active electronic current transformer and weak-mode small-signal transformer. As the key equipment of digitized substation process layer, how to select the electronic transformer is the practical problem confronted in intelligent substation construction. Through the introduction of the electronic transformers manufacturers, and the investigation of the digital substation in operation, the application situation of the electric transformer are analyzed and summarized.
