    Abstract:

    Droop control makes power electronic interface have some external characteristics of synchronous generator,such as realizing droop curve,but still cannot provide damping and inertia for power grid.In order to simulate the synchronous generator damping and inertia,this paper explains how from the evolution of droop control virtual synchronous machine control,through the establishment of similar mechanical equations of synchronous generator model,characteristic of the power electronic converter with synchronous generator damping and inertia.Simulation and experimental results verify the feasibility and correctness of the proposed method.
