Abstract:Considering large-scale electric vehicle(EV) use is limited by transportation convenience and distribution network acceptance capacity, a location and capacity optimization planning method of EV charging stations is proposed. Firstly, the Monte-Carlo method is applied to analyze the load demand characteristics of EV connected to distribution network under two different scenarios of orderly charging and disordered charging. Secondly, a location and capacity optimization model of EV charging station is proposed, considering the transportation convenience and capacity of distribution network, and the particle swarm and Voronoi method are used to solve the model. The location selection of EV charging stations is determined, and the number of charging piles in each EV charging station is optimized. Finally, a case of the northern urban area verifies the rationality of the proposed optimization planning model, so as to provide reference for the planning and construction of EV charging stations in China.
